FICEA organizes camps mainly aimed for Chinese students of ages 7-17. We offer an unique solution which includes studying, exploring the country and activities with Finnish students to encourage cultural exchange and understanding. The summer camps are organized in July-August and the winter camps in January-March every year.

Winter camp 2016Finnish winter camp was officially started on January 2016 and was jointly organized by us, Finland-China Education Association (FICEA), and cities of Tampere and Sastamala. Students and teachers coming from different provinces of China gathered in Finland and started their Finnish Education Winter Camp by attending an official ceremony in our headquarters in Tampere. |

Summer camp 2015FICEA nordic&polar inquiry-based summer camp opened in July 2015, the right 65th year since Finland and China established diplomatic relations. The summer camp aimed at “innovation, thinking, cooperation, communication”, offered students a chance to join in real Finnish classes, experience and explore the local education via a series of exchange activities and trips including “feeling the charm of Nordic cities” “innovation classes in camp” “enjoying outdoor exercises” “practical teaching in museums”, etc.. |

Winter Camp 2015As tribute to the China and Finland Friendship Year, FICEA celebrated the 65th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between the two countries by commencing their 2015 educational and cultural winter camp. The camp was organized by FICEA in cooperation with the cities of Tampere and Sastamala with support from the Embassies of China and Finland. Students from Beijing and Henan came to Finland to experience and enjoy educational and cultural exchange. |

Summer Camp 2014August 2014, Beijing No.18 Middle School has organized two teams to Finland for comprehensive social practice, and cultural exchange and communication. The programs made by the education expert group of FICEA (Finland-China Education Association) for the Beijing No.18 Middle School focused firmly on "Learning the essence of Finnish education" through visiting Finnish sister schools, having classes in the nature, participating in innovation lectures, and other learning activities, which were intended to show the students the education concept of the Finnish people. |
FICEA is dedicated to youth culture and art exchange activities. We organise for Chinese youth to act as “little messengers for spreading Chinese culture”, by organizing special culture exchange activities for artistic talents from Chinese schools. Through the culture and art exchange activities organized by our association, the Chinese traditional culture will be shown on the international stage, meanwhile promoting artistic exchanges between the youth from both countries, and common development of cultures. |

2015 FICEA Serial Cultural Activities in Tampere2015 FICEA Serial Cultural Activities kicked off in Tampere on 4th of February, 2015. The culture and art exchange event included two sections: an exhibition of Chinese traditional art work and a culture performance. During the art exhibition the Chinese students took the role of cultural advocators and introduced traditional Chinese art to the Finnish visitors. The art work included Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting, paper cutting, tea ceremony and stone carving.

Shanghai Youth Choir Group Performed in Finnish SchoolShanghai students’ choir, directed by Shanghai municipal Education Commission and organized by China welfare institute Children’s Palace, arrived in Sastamala, Finland for a friendly visit, and carried on a music exchange. In addition, a special concert was held in the Sylvää school auditorium the same day. |

The Nordic Innovation Journey of “the Creative Band from National Youth Future Engineers Expo and Competition of China”In August 2014, the group of the Creative Band from the joint project of National Youth Future Engineers Expo and Competition of China conducted by the National Institute of Education Sciences of China and Finland China Education Association visited Finland, performed in Mantta Music Festival and held an innovation music contest with Finland students. |
