FICEA organizes seminars, workshops and forums concentrating on education issues. FICEA members also regularly attend international education conferences and forums.
The 12th Convention of the International Confederation of Principals (ICP2015)
As a strategic partner of ICP 2015 (The 12th Convention of the International Confederation of Principals), FICEA organized over 100 principals from China to attend the world-class conference in Helsinki, Finland.
China-Finland Principals Forum 2015
China-Finland Principals Forum is an educational conference organized by FICEA annually aiming at creating cooperation opportunities for educators and schools of both countries and a sharing platform of education policies and innovative ideas.
The 1st China-Finland Principals Forum co-organized by FICEA and Association of Finnish Principals (SURE FIRE) was successfully held in Helsinki in 2015 with the topic of “China-Finland Education Reforms and Development of Future Schools”.
China-Finland Principals Forum 2016
The 2nd China-Finland Principals (Basic Education) Forum has the main theme of “Future Education Design”. The Curricula reforms are in progress both in China and Finland. We aim to build a face-to-face communication platform for each country to share their success and challenges.
China-Finland Principals Forum 2017
The 2017 3rd CFP Forum with the main topic – Review Finnish New Curriculum Reform • Prospect Future Education Design, focuses on analyzing the Finnish new curriculum reform and the transversal competence nurturing results within the year of 2016 and discussing key points of the school management, leadership reframe, curriculum design, and learning environment design in depth. On this basis, the forum further reveals the current educational changes and challenges, as well as hot topics of discussion to collectively explore the trend of future education.
China-Finland Principals Forum 2018
After successful hosting of the 1st-3rd China-Finland Principals Forum during 2015-2017, FICEA is going to hold the 4th China-Finland Principals Forum both in China and Finland. Top educational experts from Finland and China are invited as keynote speakers sharing the latest achievement and dynamics of Finland-China education, in order to provide an international platform for attendees on communication, cooperation and further development. The 2018 4th China-Finland Principal (Basic Education) Forum theme is Reform of Teaching based on the Development of Students’ Innovation and Creation
China-Finland Principals Forum 2019
The 2019 5th CFP Forum with the main topic – Review 2016 Finnish New Curriculum Reform • Prospect Future Education Design, focuses on discussing key points of the Finnish new curriculum reform successful practices, ICT platform development, leadership reframe and future school design in depth.
The 4th CFP Forum 2018 was held in Chongqing Xiejiawan Primary School
From June 27 to 28, 2018, the 4th CFP Forum was held, co-sponsored by the Finland-China Education Association (FICEA), Chongqing High-tech Zone Management Committee and Municipal Education Society. Held at CRC Xiejiawan Primary School in Jiulongpo District, this forum was also held in conjunction with the seventh Sino-Finnish teaching exchange seminar. This is also the first time that the international education forum has been held in China since 2015 when it was held for three consecutive sessions.
